In my senior year of college, my favorite professor said my least favorite thing.
“You don’t want to be a jack of all because that means you are a master at none.”
2 years later and I am still unpacking that one.
And I get it. But that’s not me. I love learning new things, cataloging new skills, and evolving. I am eager to challenge myself and do something new, but that doesn’t make me unskilled, or not good at what I am doing. It makes me multifaceted, engaged, and excited.
I am a jack of all. It’s kind of my thing.
